Food Heroes is an educational programme for kids. Developed as part of UNICEF’s World’s Largest Lesson, the interactive workshop teaches young people about the important relationship between what we eat, our health, and the planet we share.
Since 2018, more than +300,000 kids across +30 countries have taken part. In collaboration with the Electrolux Food Foundation, AIESEC, and Worldchefs.
Now our movement has grown to over 247,000 Food Heroes worldwide, all committed to eating better – for their bodies and the Earth.
Give kids superpowers for a better planet on their plate! You can deliver facts, figures, and fun with the Food Heroes toolkit or through a series of Instagram challenges designed to captivate children’s minds using activities, videos, workbook materials, and, once completed, a Food Hero certificate.
Register your event so we can share your impact with chefs around the globe.
The Food Heroes toolkit is ready-to-go with workshop materials in 11 languages!
We believe that what we place on our plate holds real power. By educating children about healthy,
sustainable, and delicious food choices, we can build a brighter future together.
Have you created an earth‑friendly recipe or activity? We’d love to see it. Share your creation
