Description
There are around 65 million refugees in the world, due to conflicts, hunger and natural disasters. Worldchefs humanitarian arm – World Chefs Without Borders (WCWB) – assists locally in refugee camps, disaster areas and/or crisis units where humanitarian aid is needed for short or long periods of time.
Electrolux wants with its workforce of over 50 000 employees and presence in 50 countries, to support and collaborate with WCWB to find ways of leveraging both organizations networks and capabilities.
Societal value
Providing cooked food for people struck by natural disasters or forced to flee conflicts. To provide appliances to support the efforts of WCWB and also locally for reconstruction of communities.
